Dr. Cynthia LaBella

Dr. Cynthia LaBella is Medical Director for the Institute for Sports Medicine at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, and assistant professor of pediatrics at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine.

After earning her MD from Cornell University Medical College in New York and completing a residency in pediatrics at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Dr. LaBella completed a sports medicine fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. LaBella has served as team physician for many high school, college, elite, and professional teams. Her research efforts focus on developing strategies to prevent injury in youth sports. Dr. LaBella is board certified in both pediatrics and sports medicine.
