Personal Trainer / Performance Coach

Iron City Elite Fitness and Performance is searching for high-energy, motivating, educated coaches to join our team in creating an excellent member experience. This is a part-time position progressing to full-time on-site Personal Trainer role located in Castle Shannon, PA.

Role Description: As a coach you will be responsible for designing and implementing fitness programs designed to improve the overall mobility, stability, and strength of adults 40+ years old using a variety of exercise methods. You will also be responsible for networking and assisting the team in helping more individuals achieve their health and fitness goals.

Responsibilities: Conduct personalized training sessions tailored to individual client goals and fitness levels. Develop and implement effective fitness programs based on knowledge of physiology and anatomy. Educate clients on proper body mechanics and nutrition to enhance performance and health. Lead group fitness classes, promoting a motivating and inclusive environment. Maintain clear communication with clients to track progress and adjust programs as needed. Promote fitness services and use strategies to attract new members.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related field Knowledge of exercise physiology and nutrition basics (Precision Nutrition Certified preferred)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience: working with adults in both group (6-8 participants) and in individual settings. Certification from a recognized accrediting organization such as NASM or NSCA

  • This is an on-site job that requires varied hours, please only submit your resume if you are located within 30 minutes of our facility and able to work both (early morning 6 am, and evening 6:30 pm or later) session times.

Hours: 20+/week

Compensation: $31-$55/session (private and small group)

Insurance: Compensation at 33 hrs.

Use of our facility at off-peak times as well as discounts on supplements

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $29.00 – $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week

  • Evenings as needed Monday to Friday Morning shift Weekends as needed
