Paul Taylor
A former Royal Navy Aircrew Officer, Paul is an accredited and practicing Exercise Physiologist and Nutritionist. Recently appointed as Adjunct Professor of Functional Neuroscience at The University of San Francisco, Paul is the Director of The Personal Training Academy (an International Certification Company) and The Human Performance Institute. Paul also runs the Lifestyle Program for employees of the National Australia Bank, as well as the Sustainable Leadership Program for their Executive Talent.
Paul is both a National and International speaker. Nationally, he has presented on numerous occasions within Australia. Internationally, he has presented at Fitness NZ, for numerous Health Club chains in the US, and was one of only 25 International Presenters invited to speak at the prestigious US-based Meeting of the Minds in March 2008. He is also an Author, Radio Presenter and Content Committee member for PTontheNet.
In addition to an extensive background in health and fitness, Paul has a proven track record in leadership, management and dealing in high-pressure situations, through his former roles as an Airborne Anti-submarine Warfare Officer and a Helicopter Search-And-Rescue Crew Member with the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm.
Paul has combined his years of University training with his interests in Neuroscience, Quantum Physics and Positive Psychology to develop an integrated approach to health and well-being that he calls Scientific Holism – evidence based holistic health that integrates both the physical and mental components of the self.
